Fireworks With Chemical Processing

In this paper, we take a look at how fireworks produce their multitude of vibrant colors. From red, white and blue to yellow, orange, and green, it involves chemical processing.

Placing fine black powder in a confined space and igniting it causes an explosion of heat, gas, and noise. But how do they get their colors? Just like products from many other industries that are brought to market,
fireworks must be processed. The black powder in fireworks is mixed with different dried chemicals and compounds, then processed into spherical compartments of fine powder that when ignited, produce their brilliant color displays.
